This is me with my three crazy humans. I also have a 6 year old cocker spaniel named Edith who is the craziest of us all. You also might be thinking who's taken this lovely photo, well, thats my ever patient and super talented partner Henry who also takes photographs for a living. A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
AND HOW I WORK
I’m a 30 something mum of 3 who’s been photographing weddings for over 10 years now. Photography has always been a huge passion of mine and I absolutely adore my job. Being there on someones special day throughout all the nerves and excitement is truly an honour. I’m very lucky. Other than my children and camera my other passion is with food. Particularly Italian. If you ever find yourself in Hull you must get yourself to Da Gianni’s. It’s my favourite place. Plus theres a lovely ice cream parlour across the road if you don’t fancy yourself a tiramisu.
So more about how I shoot. Less is more. I like to think my style is very natural and unobtrusive. I won’t ask you to set any shots up, but certain scenarios I can set up for you such as the confetti shot and bouquet throwing. I will try to document your day in a way where you won’t even notice I’m there. There may be times where I need to coordinate you and your guests (such as group shots) but I will always follow your lead and if you need me to be bossy that is absolutely no problem at all, I did mention I had 3 kids didn’t I. I decided to separate the wedding side of my business mainly because I wanted to put my own name to my work. Pink feet photography started primarily offering portraits 10 years ago hence the name (I love kids feet ALOT, the chubbier the better) and I’m still running my portrait side of the business, just under a different name.
