This couple proper rocked my world. Katherine and Adam’s Rise Hall wedding was the last of a 3 in a row and had me so emotional. The moments between family and friends truly made me pinch myself. I love my job and LOVED their wedding.

Like a lot of 2021 weddings, Katherine and Adam had postponed and rebooked numerous times due to the pandemic. These guys could not wait to be married. I could feel the absolute joy radiating from them all day. There was so much love floating around I could easily shoot 10 in a row if they were filled with this amount of emotion.

Katherine and Adam were both getting ready at Rise Hall which meant I could capture both preparations which is nice. The rooms are big and so full of directional light which is always a bonus. After the ceremony we went onto the grass for the confetti and canapés and drinks before being seated for their wedding breakfast.

I took a wonder around the grounds and stumbled upon their resident cat who loved a good fuss. I didn’t want to leave him but I had to head off for the speeches. I later found out he was a cat from the village who would come across regularly and spend the day there. It was quite the trek too. Such a cute little dude! I hope I get to see him again.

After some amazing speeches the guests had cocktails on the lawn whilst the room was turned around. Listening to drunken stories around the fire pit and children giggling on the tree swing make this such a beautiful setting for a late summer evening.
