A Family brand shoot in grimsby with the JCS Fish family. Staged corporate images don’t really suit the openness of social media. When I think of corporate headshots I can’t help but quiver at the dull formality of it all.
If you’re wanting staged, studio lit images of your employees then I am most definitely not the photographer for you. I’ve done it before and quite frankly it bores me to near death. I have to split screen my editing and I have Bob mortimer’s best bits from ‘Would I lie to you’ to keep me giggling through the pain of the awkward expressions. Linked here, if you’re interested. Anyway, the gang at Big Fish Brand needed some fun imagery of themselves for social media and their website. This brand is as honest and fun as they come and regularly throw parties for their employees to keep moral high in their fish factory on Grimsby Docks.
You could shoot a years content in just one day if you wanted to. These guys got their Christmas jumpers out in October for their social content over the festive season. Theres no reason why you couldn’t shoot images for any occasion. Maybe get some balloons to mark your 5th year of opening, dress up in your Halloween outfit after shooting your mothers day campaign.
